Find a Mentor
Whether it’s professional or personal, you need someone you can look up to, learn from and trust they have your best interest in mind. Professionally speaking, your everyday work can be very tough, demanding and overwhelming, especially for someone with less experience who is trying to grow and advance in their career. It may be possible to make it on your own without guidance, but from my experience, it is critical to find a role model that is willing to teach you through their past experiences, both successes and failures, that will put you on the path you’re seeking.
