Be Careful of Your Own Lens

Be Careful of Your Own Lens

Feb 2, 2018 | Posted by Design Services Admin | Others' Experiences |

Often time’s people use their experiences to instruct others on common mistakes or missteps that they have made. Sometimes you will think that you are doing others a favor by not letting them make the same mistakes or fall into the same traps. This isn’t always well received. Sometimes when trying to teach younger people it is better to not be abrasive or “my way or the highway” and let the new hires form a plan to get things done. Although taking characteristics from proven successful leaders is a great place to start, don’t be close-minded to new ideas.

Let people amaze you instead of putting them in the dye.
